The best time to make friends is before you need them.

What can I say? Well I'm in san francisco at the moment, its a magical city but very hilly. One of my bestest friends in the world, hana is in la visiting friends, two of them she always talks about. From what she said they seemed like cool people.

Anyway they drove up to sf for a long weekend and I met them friday night. Straight away paul was welcoming and bought me a beer. Aeriel seemed cool but it was early days.

That night we hit up a club and it was pretty good, vibes were nice and it was fun.

Saturday we spent being tourists for a bit, then went to a bar. After that we went to the cheesecake factory which was amazing food. We were in a food comatised state so hit the sack early.

Sunday I met them for breakfast and then said our bye's. I hate saying bye. What can I say they were the most amazing, kind, welcoming, generous people I have ever met. In fact I don't think any amount of words/adjectives I can type would do them justice. The weekend was fun filled throughout. It is no exaggeration to say it was one of the best weekends of my life.

So many great memories, guessing which elevator would open, a one dollar engagement ring hand made, the boat bus, the games of pool, the heel clicking as we walked down the road to keep us warm, the tramps (why would u been homeless in sf when you could be in la) in fact every moment was a memory that I will treasure for a long time.

This won't get up loaded until monday but all I know is if the rest of my time in america is one tenth as good as this weekend I am in for the trip of my life. I will be flying to la at least once to see them, hopefully more.

As you know I love ending things with a quote so here it goes:

' There are moments in our life that come and go, people will too, but what we do and the people we meet can never be taken from us. Our memories will last forever no matter how deep down they are, they will remain. So drink, laugh and spend your time having fun, don't be sad at what is going, but be happy that it happened and treasure the memories'.

Ok its not a quote, I made it up but now I've said it maybe it is a quote. All that matters is its true and we all should remember that.

'The mystic chords of memory will swell when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.'
