Thursday's Bets

Today I would advise you to seriously question following my bets in all honesty. It is so hard to call results in first legs of European affairs. Nevertheless as I will be betting, I will post up my tips, but they will be brief.

The three teams I am backing are Atletico Madrid, Hamburg, and Standard Liege. The odds are 1.8, 1.7 and 6.6 respectively. Standard are far too big a price for me to ignore.

I have a feeling that there will be a lot of draws, and regardless of my above tips I will be backing ALL teams to draw in my multiple there are 56 trebles, so unless we get 4 in we won't make a profit. Due to this I am backing 4 folds and upwards. In order to do this I suggest a small bet on fourfolds, half ur stake for 5 folds, ditto for 6 folds, and maintain this for 7 and 8 folds. If 4 come in we will be in profit.

In LILLE v LIVERPOOL
Both teams to score @1.98 4 points
Torres anytime @ 2.52 2 points
Over 2.5 goals@2.44 2 points

JUVENTUS v FULHAM
Both teams to Score@2.12 3 points
Duff Anytime@ 9.4 1 point

I am going to look into some correct score multiples too just for fun.

Good luck and sorry it's not a great post

Oh edit:
These are teams are backing to qualify
1Atl Madrid v Sp Lisbon - To Qualify (Backing Atl Madrid @ 1.56)
2Benfica v Marseille - To Qualify (Backing Marseille @ 2.08)
3Hamburg v Anderlecht - To Qualify (Backing Hamburg @ 1.39)
4Juventus v Fulham - To Qualify (Backing Fulham @ 2.89)
5Lille v Liverpool - To Qualify (Backing Liverpool @ 1.43)
6Panathinaikos v Standard - To Qualify (Backing Standard @ 2.46)
7Rubin Kazan v Wolfsburg - To Qualify (Backing Wolfsburg @ 1.98)
8Valencia v W Bremen - To Qualify (Backing Valencia @ 1.7)

Another Day. Another Dolla

And another great day of football has past us, with the prospect of the Europa league ahead. So before I go on to my predictions for tonight (which will be in a later post) I will run through... BRIEFLY (for Woody Wood Wood Wood) the results from yesterday.

As you may have noticed I changed to a point system yesterday, the reason behind this is that I do not want to tell you how much to bet, we all have different bankrolls and we should not exceed risking more than 10% of it in a day, a point to remember otherwise you will go broke if we hit a bad run (fingers crossed we won't but better to be safe then sorry.) The idea of the point system is you should have a standard stake (lets say £10). If I say 1 point, then it is a simple £10 bet, 2 points = £20, 3=£30 and so on. The more confident I am the higher the points I will specify... follow?

So yesterday saw a return of over 9 points, and this is how it breaks down.

MAN UTD v AC MILAN
Over 3.5 Goals at @3.5 (2 points) WON = 5 points (3.5x2 - stake)
Both Teams to Score @1.77 (4 points) LOST = -4 points
Pato to score anytime @4.7 (2 points) LOST = -2 points
Ronaldinho to score anytime @4.8 (2 points) LOST = -2 points
Half time AC Full time Man U @ 26 (1 point) LOST = - 1 point
Half time Man u Full time AC @50 (1 point) LOST = - 1 point

RETURN FROM GAME = -5points Not a great game for us there.

REAL MADRID v LYON
Lyon to qualify @2.7 (3 points) WON = 5.1 points
Lay Real @1.3 (2 points) (remember by laying for 2 points, you want 2 points of liability. So to have 2 points of liability someone had to bet 6.66 points. we WON so = 6.66 points
No Real clean sheet @ 1.86 (2 points) WON = 1.72 points.

RETURN FROM GAME = 13.48 points

READING v DERBY
Over 2.5 goals @2 (3 points) WON = 3 points
2-1 Derby @ 18.5 (1 point) LOST = -1 point
2-1 Reading @ 9/4 (1 point) LOST = -1 point

RETURN FROM GAME = 1 point.

TOTAL RETURN = 9.48 points

We staked 24 points, we made 9.48 points profit. This is a return of 39.5% Profit. Not a bad day's work.

On another note I recommended trying to combine these into a multiple. I did and my multiple was Over 2.5 goals in Reading V Derby, Over 3.5 Goals in Man U v AC Milan, and Lay Real Madrid. All 3 came in for a multiple of 24.59 points return. Not a bad addition to the bank roll.

Tuesdays Results

Hellooooo, what a beautiful day it is!!

I am so happy with Arsenal yesterday, I'm still buzzing today, little Samir Nasri put in a hell of a performance capped with a stunning goal! As for Bedntner, what what needs to be said, he put the weekend behing him.

SO:

What a result for Arsenal, and hello to Bedntner, my tip for hitting the net, and not only did he oblige once, not twice, but thrice! I'd been throwing the words "bendtner" and "hatrick" around the office yesterday, however failed to stick any molla on it due to being in a rush. HOWEVER, my bet on Bendtner first goal, any time goal, and a scorecast of Bedntner first goal any unquoted score (bigger than 3-1) at 55.0 flew into my pocket. Unfortunately I was unmatched on my "hatrick to be scored" bet but that's what you get for asking for too big a price sometimes.

Unto the football tips from yesterday results.

FIORENTINA won, so laying Bayern and backing Draw no bet Fiorentina win, both came in.
WEST BROM recorded the required win.
QPR saw off their challenge
CARDIFF failed miserably, poor show!
My good friends SWANSEA did me proud once again.
BURY put in a poor performance against relegation certainties, I'm gobsmacked!
AND BIRMINGHAM hit back as predicted against the Portsmouth side that knocked them out of the cup.

So what did this mean for profit this week if you had followed my tips?
If we say you bet £10 on every tip then you would have finished with a profit of £47.49 on the match results, and the £10 bets on Bendtner first goal, and anytime would havee given you an extra profit of £86.

Onto the multiples, unfortunately my advised multiple would have had you £10 down, but the sensible people amongst you, may have chosen to throw all selections into a bet and do multiples from 4 folds up. That again would have returned a tasty profit.

All in all by doing £10 bets on each tip you would have been £123.49 up from staking only £90, thats over 137% profit, no complaints I hope.

I will be back later with tips for tonights Champions league bets, and just for Richie, I'll keep it short.

FA Cup Weekend and a week of interesting wins

SO this week I had 4 horses in a yankee (thats 1 accumulator 4 trebles and 6 doubles) and they all came in for a greta profit. The accum was 480.9/1 odds :D

Anyway bit ironic after moaning about horses I get that kind of a win, no complaints for a while.

Now onto the football, and I will keep it brief. My results from last weekend were good and I'll try and replicate however as its 2pm now I'll only give a short sentence why they are selections worth punting on so that you can get your bets on in time.

WEST BROM - THey are playing QPR who are in bad form and West Brom are too good 2.2 is great odds.

BOURNEMOUTH - 10 home wins and the 4th best home form 2.04

CHESTERFIELD - They are the on form team so get on them to continue their good run CHeltenham are poor. 2.34

SHREWSBURY - Grimbsby have the worst home form and have not won in 8! 2.32 is a gift.

My other bet is an accumulator on odds on teams.

ROCHDALE
ARSENAL
LYON
INTER
PALERMO
BARCELONA pays 5.3 last time I checked.

Other teams worth looking at are ALdershot and Bury, and I would not write off Salisbiry at the odds they are.

FInally my European tips are Espanyol, Deportivo, Lens, Lille and Cagilari. Check their recent form to see why.

Sorry it is brief and no in depth am in a rush today.

Weekend Results

So not a bad first public weekend of predictions, for those of you unaware here are the results:
Arsenal won 3-1.
Cardiff lost 3-0.
Norwich won 1-0
Rochdale won 1-0
Kidderminster won 3-0
Montpellier won 3-1
Inter Milan won 3-1.

As you can see6/7 results came in for a good weekend. If you had placed £10 on each would of shown £50 profit. Also my accumulator tip advised leaving Cardiff out and placing a fourfold to be safe, that would of returned with odds of 12.2 for another nice win.

Other bets I had on this weekend that I did not advise but will inform you of were:
Arsenal to win 3-0(lost), Arsenal to win 3-1(won). Bendtner to score at anytime(won).
Villa to win in ET(lost) Milner to score Anytime (won) Rooney to scor at anytime (won) Dunne to score at anytime (lost). Liverpool, Aston Villa, Spurs and Fulham all to win 2-1 (Liverpool and Spurs won - single bets only). Betting in play Man City at 9.7 (won) Tevez to score at anytime (won)

In Rugby I backed Ireland to win (won) Tommy Bowe to score a try (won) First scoring play Ireland penalty (lost) and Italy to beat Scotland(won).

I also had a bet on the golf on Geoff Ogilvy which came nowhere unfortunately.

Overall it was a profitable weekend and I will assess whether I will post any tips for midweek Internationals. Friendly's are always tough.

On another note I would like to post my views on the injury to Ramsey. Was it a dangerous tackle? Evidently. Was it maliscious? No. So what is my view? Overall I think it was a terrible challenge that resulted in a horrific injury and the worst result possible. I do not think Shawcross is premier league quality let alone England International and am shocked at his call up. When was the last time a player from Man United, Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool broke a players leg with a challenge? A long time is the answer.

That's just my view and I'm sure you got yours (But you'll probably be wrong, yes I have tinted glasses on when it comes to Arsenal, and what?)
