It's crazy to think that having only been back in the UK for a couple of weeks, in a not so short time I will be heading off the America for a number of months.
9 months ago if you had told me this is the life I would be living I would of thought you'd been smoking something you shouldn't and think that you need to lie down, but here I am, getting ready for the next step in my life.
Recently I have realised how much I love everything I have and am so thankful for everything I have been given. Obviously there are times when I'm down but I'm trying to look at everything in a more positive light - obstacles are just challenges they don't need to stop you from moving on.
The weekend just gone was one of the best ones I have had in a long time. On Friday I went to my cousins wedding and it was kind of magical, it seemed like such a great day from them and everyone else was feeding off their vibes.
The rest of the weekend I spent at Lovebox - a music festival in Victoria Park. I got to spend time with people that have vanished from my life and now they are back in it. The music was great, the sun was shining, the alcohol was plentiful and it was just incredible. To those I spent that weekend with - thanks for everything it was amazing and I'm so glad I spent it with all of you.
There's been a lot of great things I've been reading which has been good, and one blog in particular needs a mention. http://assassinatopoker.blogspot.com/ is one of the best blogs around. The guy is a full time poker player but with a difference, he won't bore you with stuff you don't care about, he just uses his blog to explain what's going on and get his thoughts down, it really is some motivational stuff and I will continue reading as long as he keeps writing!
Also I think everyone should watch http://www.wimp.com/watchingthis/ it will cheer you up and make you realise to look more positivley on everything!
There is so much I could write today but instead I'm going to try and write more and talk about excitements about this adventure ahead of me - including packing up my life and taking it to my parents.
